Brief presentation:

The Department of Informatization and Communication (DICT) at the West University of Timisoara has the following objectives:

Implementing the strategy for continuous, coherent and unitary development of the infrastructure for the information and communication technologies ( ICT) at the West University of Timisoara, that should sustain performance and excellence in academic activities and research;

Implementing an integrated information system that should manage the educational process and targeting the automation of the operation process of the information specific to the faculties and the departments at the West University of Timisoara;

Ensuring performant communication via a reliable access to the internet services for all the academics, students and staff at the West University of Timisoara, and a permanent modernization of the internet and intranet facilities, provided by the digital communication network at the West University of Timisoara and West University of Timisoara Net;

Providing performant ICT facilities (information and communication technologies) for all the academics, students and staff at the West University of Timisoara that refer to the access, processing and communication of the information relevant for each user category at the West University of Timisoara;

Providing easy and efficient electronic services for public community information regarding the academic programmes and educational facilities at the West University of Timisoara.
